Don't panic if my onion site is down.
Some thugs keep DDoS-ing me due to my new product:
    http://mattmcla832jriofpfi3++2co3ru323()2@!@#!iojweoehowboutdem.onion

which is essentially the DarkNet for your DarkNet(TM).

O, just think of all the things we could have done had we not been Rickrolled 1.6 billion times ...

and be sure and turn OFF javascript in your TOR browser.
It's on by default....

Yeah, really.

Ciao, MM 250303

Want to see some nice photos of the sun that I took?

Or Jupiter and the Galilean moons?

Or eerie nighttime shots?

Maybe you like lichen?

How about sunsets: 20210114 or 20211114

Or perhaps the great comet chase of 2020:
20200716 and 20200717 and 20200719

Maybe sunrise is more your thing?

You're the Mayor of Simpleton and like clouds and clouds and clouds?

Or, how about some images of an electrical storm?

Or, perhaps turkey buzzards taking flight?

Want more? A vibrant sunset, perhaps?

Did anyone say long exposures?

Want to see how fast I is?

If the site's been updated recently, I'm still kickin' it. Otherwise, I'm dead.
After that, when no one pays the bills for a while, this site will bite the dust, too.

It took a while to get started with the
writing portion of the book.
First, I created a bespoke word processor
in java with sqlite3 as the backend.
Here's all 13,000 lines of the code
(if your're interested).

The sha256 sum for chicago-source-20240401.tar is:

You're still here? Good. There's more.

What am I doing? I'm writing a novel.

What did I do? I went to private school for K-12, then a small private college for 4 years and ended up with a major in Electrical Engineering and a minor in English (yeah, I took like 8 extra classes to get a minor in English rather than one extra course to get a minor in Mathematics). Next, I took a year off to study Anatomy + Physiology, and Quantum Physics; then proceeded to obtain a fellowship to get my Masters Degree in Engineering (Biomedical) from a large public university. Since that went swimmingly, I hauled my ass back to the fellowship office and applied for the Doctoral Fellowship in Engineering and received that. In May 1996, I was conferred a Doctorate in Engineering and immediately took a job at consulting firm focusing on internet development. Over the next 22.5 years, I worked all over the world in cities like New York, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Paris, Nice / Monaco, and other places. After all those years, I finally had enough fuel for my spaceship and quit. The next step was to take a break, which I did. Over the past two years, I've been writing a novel and trying to survive.

Thanks for coming

Wanna see my clock?
